SNMMI has awarded Bangyan the 2025 Bradley-Alavi Student Fellowship, based on his proposal entitled “High-Resolution Positronium Lifetime Imaging in Large Animal Models.” The award is made possible by the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (ERF).

This study investigates the potential of integrating fluorescence signatures from intra-operative FLIm together with pre-operative CT images to improve lymph node metastasis prediction.  This is the first study combining pre-operative CT imaging and intra-operative FLIm for surgical guidance.
